Artificial Reality is a photographic series created entirely in a digital environment using 3D modelling and digital editing.
The first part of the process leading to Artificial Reality consisted in the digital modeling of the blooming phases of the rose. This custom object was created using a 3D interface (Blender, Rhino) set in a digital environment.
The second part of the work consisted in adding different surfaces to the object (wood, metal, glass, plastic, gold) to then place the object in an artificial photographic environment.
The ones exhibited are the results of a research that aims at deepening the potential relationship in between virtually- created-images and still-photographs, blurring the limits of what is perceived as an image and questioning what is considered a constructed reality.
